‘Ye Old Farmhouse’ Public House is a prominent building located adjacent to Bath’s famous Camden Crescent. It is a visual landmark and articulates the point where Camden Crescent joins Lansdown Road.
Believed to originate from an early farmhouse dated around the 16th century and formally a popular Jazz venue, its recent past has seen this famous Public House slip into decline.
Our proposals, developed closely with Bath Planning, aimed to repurpose this historic building as a Complementary Therapy Practice. Providing specialist treatment rooms, the ground floor has been sensitively converted to accommodate 5 treatment suites with supporting facilities.
The upper floor and derelict recording studio to the rear have been converted into rented accommodation making a sustainable business venture offering local practitioners treatment space and accommodation.
Architecturally, the original exterior and interior features have been retained and preserved.
